Evidence Field Study
Concept study
Claims become bodies, sources bind to them, and contradictions raise entropy — the
Evidence Field pattern, driven by real data through
bindData(). Flip a source's polarity or add a claim and the field updates
deterministically; removed claims decay rather than pop. Still a plain claim/source list with the
field off.
This is the concept study behind the applied AI Evidence page — the same Evidence Field mechanism, here shown as a bare data-binding you can poke.
Data honesty
- Data source
- Synthetic. Claims are drawn from a small pool of neutral example statements and randomized on each load; sources are four fixed placeholder labels. Nothing here is a real study or dataset.
- Snapshot
- Generated in the browser each visit — there is no committed snapshot and no snapshot script feeds this page.
- Live refresh
- No external data, so no live refresh. The field updates deterministically when you add, remove, or flip a claim.
- Not claimed
- The field turns support and contradiction edges into coherence and entropy. It does not judge whether any claim is true — it makes the shape of agreement and conflict legible.
bindData().inspect() — records, bodies, relationship edges.Field off here stops the whole simulation — the pattern detaches and the claims fall back to a plain list. That is different from turning a single projection off, where the field keeps running and only one expression stops being drawn.
